Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson were aware that there was no turning back once they walked into the Hamburg church. Ashley was only 17 and had never had a boyfriend, so the two took things really slow. It was, however, love at the first sight. It was New Year's Eve, just ahead of the year's beginning, Andrew wanted God to bless him with one more thing in the was to come... to ensure that Ashley would accept and wed Andrew. Ashley desired a wedding that was elegant in a woodland folk theme. It was crucial for her that the wedding reflected both Andrew as well as Ashley. Andrew's dad and Ashley as well as Ashley made both the ceremony and the seating arch. Ashley made and painted several of the wedding decors.
